Edgware, North Harrow, South Harrow and Rayners Lane are set to receive funding for a range of improvements to their high streets.
The High Street Fund is money provided by Harrow Council to support local district centres to refresh the high street area, creating a safer, vibrant and more pleasant environment for all.
Following consultation to seek local residents’ views on proposed improvements, feedback indicated strong support for Festive Lighting and Paved (Copenhagen) Crossings across three of the four areas, with the fourth choosing Painted Lamp Columns and Paved (Copenhagen) Crossings. Residents also said, that in addition to road safety improvements and creative features, they wanted greener, environmentally friendly spaces on their high street.
Results are now available to view online , for all four district centres
